Makeup Not Worth Your Money

I decided to try out a new foundation this month, before I start let me explain the Benefits it claims to have. This foundation states that it is “ideal for normal to oily skin” which I did find true, especially because my skin type is oily. It left my skin matte for a longer amount of time, which could be because the foundation claims to have “micro-powders to control shine and blur pores.” When I first applied this I found it to be true, it gave a beautiful effect to the skin, while controlling my shine.  However, a downside when first applying this foundation is it dries so fast that I had to work in sections of my face.

After purchasing this foundation which retails for roughly $8.99, I tested it out on my skin, still trying to keep home, but my skin began to break out. I never had a foundation leave my skin this way. I noticed it just after two days from using it. But I used it consistently for almost a month and overall found that the foundation was the cause of my breakouts.

This foundation is the “Fit Me Matte & Poreless” from Maybelline. I love Maybelline as a brand, but this foundation was a miss for me, and definitely not one I recommend buying in the long run.
