Our Town
Our Town is a 1938 three-act play by American playwright Thornton Wilder. It tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover’s Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens.This play is about Daily Life, Love and Marriage And Death and Eternity.
Our Town was first performed at McCarter Theater in Princeton, New Jersey on January 22, 1938. It won 3 Awards: the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, 1989 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revival and 1989 Tony Award for Best Revival. Our Town was performed at Hoover in the spring of 2016.
