Hoover High’s boys’ soccer team played a victorious match against Muir on Friday at home, coming away with a 3-0 Pacific League victory.

Melvin Mirzakhanyan scored the first goal from 10 yards out in the 24th minute. At the 58-minute mark, Sevak Papazyan scored the second goal from 20 yards away. The final goal was scored by Anthony Arushanyan from 20 yards away in the 70th minute.

“We played pretty well. Of course there were some areas for improvement, but we had good control over the ball and a nice defense so I’m happy with how the game turned out,” said Mirzakhanyan.
