Dr. Jennifer Earl, Hoover’s principal for the last 13 years, will be leaving the school to take on a new role in the Glendale Unified School District.

“I will be taking on a new role within GUSD, allowing me to coordinate, expand, and enhance visual and performing arts education for students across the district in grades TK-12,” she wrote in an email to the Hoover community. “I am passionate about this important work and look forward to focusing on arts education with students, educators, and families.”

Dr. Earl will remain on as the principal for the remainder of the school year.

The district will begin the search for a new leader.
