One Hoover High softball player was selected on the honorable mention list on the All-Pacific League Team. 

Evelyn Ortiz, a sophomore, was the only Hoover softball player to make this list. Ortiz was the starting pitcher for the Tornados this season.

“It feels amazing to be selected,” she said. “I feel so honored that they selected me out of the whole  softball  team. I have learned that  hardwork  truly pays off. I want to thank my coaches for helping  me achieve this.
