The Pacific League honored four Hoover High football players on its all-league list.
Ethan Davis, Javon Lymon, Jaiden Pease, and Isaac Perez made the list.
Davis, Hoover’s starting quarterback, was selected to be on the second-team offense list.
“I think all of us couldn’t be here without Coach Azad [Herabidian]. He held the program together when there was nothing. He took the fall on many issues and we blamed him for many issues but he still stuck around. That’s not often in a coach so I think he deserves all the praise right now,” said Davis.
Davis will leave his time at Hoover High School knowing that he left a good legacy.
Lymon, Hoover’s wide receiver, made the second-team defense list.
“It feels good. It’s a big outcome,” said Lymon.
Perez and Pease’s efforts throughout the season were also recognized by making the honorable mentions list.
Pease was a defensive tackle and Perez was a middle linebacker.
