Hoover High celebrated its Open House on Thursday.
The event was attended by students, staff, and families. ASB students put up beautiful decorations, posters, and balloons pointing to the upper quad, where the event was held.
“The Open House went better than expected,” Sophomore Class President Milena Asatryan said. “The ASB members did a fantastic job with the decorations, and although it took a long time to prepare, everything looked perfect at the end.”
The Open House was attended by many students and families. Clubs showcased their stands, and there were performances by the three Pep teams, band, choir, and musicians from the Music Path.
Student with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher received their principal honor roll certificate and took pictures with friends and family in the Student Union.
Students had the opportunity to talk with their teachers, enjoy the delicious food, and explore the art gallery, where they could view the work of the school’s artists.
“I found the art gallery very interesting because not only was the art beautiful, but there were also ceramic pieces that looked pretty and cool,” said Hoover student Sarina Harutunian.
Open House ended with great music by Hoover’s Band, ending a successful night.
