The Pacific League honored two Hoover girls’ water polo players on its all-league team.
Senior Lilith Martin, a goalkeeper, was placed on the second team and sophomore Candela Roman was awarded as an honorable mention.
“I’m very surprised, amazed actually,” Martin said.
Miranda Graham of Crescenta Valley High School was selected as the Player of the Year.
“I was very happy when I got this award,” Roman said. “I’m very honored and I can’t wait to see how our team grows and gets better over the years.”
