The Class of 2027 had its own party on Thursday.
Fresh Fest was a new event for freshmen that took place on the baseball field and had several activities for students to enjoy.
Some of the activities included water balloon toss, potato sack race, a loaded fries truck, and inflatable games. The upperclassmen gained community service hours by help during the event. Different clubs also sold food and drinks at their booths.
Freshmen thought this was a great way to hang out with their friends and feel special.
“I really enjoy this event and I’ve had so much fun today hanging out with my friends,” said freshman Eva Lyudmirsky.
Freshman Mari Aghazarian also had a blast.
“I had so much fun today and I think this is a really great event for all the future freshmen as well,” she said.
“I think this was a great way to end my first year at Hoover. I can’t wait to see what else in store for next year,” said freshman Delilah Tifa.
Freshman Hunter Chan also had a great time with his friends.
“My friends and I had so much fun hanging out and getting to enjoy another event together to end the year,” Chan said.
