Hoover students from 9th to 12th grade have a unique opportunity to participate in a scholarship contest that honors the memory of the Armenian Genocide!
The California Armenian Legislative Caucus Foundation is offering scholarships to students who demonstrate their talents through an essay or visual arts contest. The deadline to submit applications is fast approaching, with all entries due by Friday, March 28, 2025.
This scholarship opportunity invites students to participate in two contests: an essay contest and a visual arts contest. Each contest offers cash prizes for the top three winners in both categories. The winners will be honored at the Annual Armenian Advocacy Day and may even display their artwork in the California State Capitol, providing a unique chance to showcase their work to the public.
The scholarship contest is open to all students currently enrolled in grades 9 through 12. Students can choose to enter either the essay contest or the visual arts contest, based on their strengths and interests.
