FORKY ASKS A QUESTION: EPISODE ONE- WHAT IS MONEY?

Aside from the tear jerking farewell from our most beloved childhood characters such as Woody and Buzz, no one would have imagined that one of our favorite characters from Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” would be a talking spork. But wait for it, who thinks he’s a fork? His name is Forky and he has a lot of questions.

Pixar, well before the release of their first animated film “Toy Story,” was notorious for their short films. So it comes as no surprise that Pixar, for the debut of DisneyPlus would create a short film TV series of one of its well known characters.

Pixar’s three-minute episodic series “Forky Asks A Question” was a gold mine idea for the studio, but the final product, “What is Money?” proves that much work is still left to be done.

It might have been intended for a younger audience, who much like Forky has a lot of questions about how the world works, but as a fan of the Toy Story and Pixar brand, it is a disappointment to say the least.
