Hoover High School’s PTA now accepts nominations for its annual Honorary Service Awards (HSA). These prestigious awards are presented yearly to individuals or groups who have significantly contributed to the school, community, or youth organizations. The awards recognize those who go above and beyond in service, including teachers, parents, volunteers, staff members, and community leaders. The PTA encourages all students, parents, and community members to nominate someone who has made a difference at Hoover High School.
The categories for the awards include the Honorary Service Award, Continuing Service Award, Very Special Person Award, Outstanding Teacher Award, Outstanding Administrator Award, and the Golden Oak Award. To submit a nomination, individuals can complete a Google Form or paper form due by March 24, 2025. The HSA Selection Committee will review all nominations and choose the award recipients based on the submitted reasons for the nominations
This program allows the Hoover High School community to show appreciation for those who dedicate their time, effort, and passion to improving the lives of students and the broader community. Nominations are open to everyone, and multiple nominations can be submitted.
