Cady spots three girls sitting at a table in the cafeteria and asks Janis and Damian who they are. They tell Cady that they’re known as The Plastics because they’re shiny, fake, and hard. The song proceeds to introduce all three. First is Regina George, the Queen bee. Next is Gretchen Wieners, the big-haired know-it-all. And last but not least is Carren Smith, who once spelled orange with a “D.”
