Christopher Clemons, an AP Government, Philosophy, and World History teacher, is leaving Hoover for a new chapter in his life. Clemons will be a new teacher at Clark Magnet High School to inspire new students with his teachings.

“Clark is in my neighborhood,” he said. “It’s about four doors down from my house, so just being in the same neighborhood, being able to walk my kids to school, and pick them up from school is a lot more convenient.”

Clemons will be teaching World History, AP World History, and U.S History.

“I am kind of excited about that because I’ve never taught U.S History before,” Clemons said.

Clemons will be leaving Hoover next year to start his new journey in his teaching career. This means that he will be completing this semester before he leaves.

“I’ll miss all my colleagues, the friends that i have made over the years, the students, and I hope I am still about to see and talk to,” Clemons said with a heartwarming smile
