The Hoover High girls’ tennis team has advanced to the playoffs. The Tornados, who finished fourth in the Pacific League, will play Esperanza, which took second in the North Hills League, on Tuesday.

The winner of the CIF Southern Section Division 3 wild-card match will play St. Margarets in Wednesday’s first round.

“The players did very well, I am hoping that we keep up with this momentum for the next game we have,”said Mher Ivynian, the Hoover girls’  tennis coach.
