After more than 35 years of serving in the Glendale Unified School District, including 25 years oat Hoover High School, teacher Talin Kevorkian will retire at the end of the school year, concluding a career that has impacted students through her dedication to education.
“I’ve had a fulfilling career, and I’m ready to focus on the next chapter of my life,” she said. “I would like to dedicate more time to things I’ve put off- travel, hobbies, and times with loved ones.”
Kevorkian plans to spend more time with family and pursue personal interests after retirement, though she said she will always value her years at Hoover.
“A little bit of everything – rest, fun, travel, and whatever comes next,” she said.
“I truly loved every moment I worked here at the district as an educator. Some of my fondest memories are attending BGD, proms, and graduation ceremonies, especially because students love seeing their teachers outside the classroom and teachers enjoy supporting students in their extracurricular activities.”
