If you are interested in joining a club, you should join the Young Life Club in room 2113 every Tuesday at lunch.
Hoover teachers Edgar Stepanyan, Jessie Lim and others created the club about a year ago, and the club, with approximately 20 members, has had three meetings, thus far. at lunch.
The club is a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.
Young Life Club is about faith, friends, fun, playing games, and spreading the love of Jesus Christ.
Young Life, which was founded in the early 1930s, is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school and college students in all 50 of the states in America, as well as more than 100 countries around the world. Its mission is to introduce students to Jesus and help them grow in their faith.
During lunch, students play games, hang out, and eat amazing food.
“I think people get together and learn about Jesus,” Stepanyan said.
You can really benefit from joining this club. You can have fun and learn at the same time. You can also be around people with the same interests as you, so it is very easy to make new friends. Everyone is kind and respectful in the club. It is also a great way to get community service hours.
The club members love the club too.
“My favorite thing is probably the free food,” Erik Ghokasian said.
“Everyone is respectful,” Joshua Lim added.
