Sweet Potato Fries

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil


  1. Preheat oven to 450
  2. Rinse and Scrub potatoes
  3. Cut potatoes into fries strips (about 1/2 inch wide) with skin
  4. In a large bowl, mix paprika, salt, ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Add the oil. Blend with a fork until there are no lumps.
  5. Add sweet potato strips to the bowl and toss until they are all completely coated.
  6. Coat a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray and place all the fries on the pan in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes and then turn all fries over and bake for another 15 minutes.
  8. Let them cool for 10 minutes
