The Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California houses several genres of art from the ancient, classical, medieval, and modern eras. A lot of paintings and sculptures will make your jaw drop and eyes wander.
My eyes wandered to a certain painting, or should I say a vast wall that covers enough square footage to fit the entire perimeter of my room at home. At first look, the “painting” looks like the artist just threw buckets of paint on a wall. At a glance, it looks like some kind of explosion. Depending on how long you look at it, the blobs and splashes morph into a scene. A scene that your consciousness draws out with your eyes. What do you see when you look at the painting?
