The culinary class at Hoover High held a burger contest for the students to participate in on Thursday afternoon.

Isaac Perez, Giovanni Vartanyan, Alexavier Nuqui, and Tania Shahbazi won the burger contest.

“It’s awesome to win this contest,” said Vartanyan, a student at Hoover. “To know that I made a good dish.”

Nuqui said the contest was a great experience.

“Awesome to win,” Nuqui stated.

There was 10 teams that participated in this contest. Aurora Johnson, Doug Laing, Kristine Kirakosyan, and Tamara Moukhalyan were the judges for the contest.
