The Herbert Hoover Pep team held its annual pep team show, performing “The Last Dance” on April 10th and April 11th at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. The show included performances from the cheer, dance, and pep flag teams.
This show was one of the most enjoyable experiences for many on the teams this year. “I think the pep show is one the most fun things we put on every year. It’s a way for us to show different styles of dance that the school might not see often, appreciate the seniors, and come together to remember the amazing season we’ve had as teams,” said Sadie Peters, a sophomore on the dance team.
This season has been great for growth. “This season was an amazing experience that I think not only shaped me as a growing dancer but the team as well,” said Peters.
While there have been so many amazing moments with the team that people were able to witness, there have also been great moments that happened behind the scenes. “My favorite moments are the pep talks before we perform, even if it’s a small competition like regionals. The pep talks will forever be remembered and are amazing memories that bring us all together and closer as teammates and friends,” said Peters
The team has so much to offer the students. You get to meet new people, improve your skills as an athlete, and learn and receive leadership skills and learn how to be responsible. Please make sure to come to the next performance. Dates will be announced when the time comes. We love our pep teams!
